Samsung Galaxy Note7 enters mass production in July, 5 million units to ship this fall

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note has leaked numerous times already and the phablet is expected to be unwrapped on August 2 in New York. All recent reports suggest the sixth Note will be actually called Galaxy Note7 in order to catch up with the Galaxy S7 series.

We already know most of its specs and we saw its refined design, so now it’s a question of when.

The latest info may answer that – Samsung is reportedly placing orders to its suppliers for theGalaxy Note7 internals. If everything goes as planned the phablet should enter mass production in July and be ready for shipping in August.

The latest estimates are 2.5 million unit shipped for each August and September – a total of 5 million Galaxy Note7 phablets by the end of September. The Note5, which wasn’t even initially available in Europe, needed three months to reach the 5 million mark.

The Galaxy Note7 is expected to be announced on August 2 at a special UNPACKED event in New York. We expect even more leaked details to become available in the next few weeks.
