Verizon has started rolling out a new update to the Droid Turbo from 2014. The update brings along latest Android security patches as well as some call performance-related improvements.
Sadly, the Android version remains at Lollipop, meaning no Marshmallow still. What’s even worse is that there’s currently no information as to when the device will get the Marshmallow update.
Anyway, coming back to the latest security update, it has just started rolling out. So, it may take some time before the OTA notification pops up on your device. Meanwhile, if you’re feeling impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading to your handset’sSettings menu.
