NEW DELHI: Meizu is all set to launch its Blue Charm Metal 2 smartphone in China. The company has an event scheduled for June 13, where it will likely launch the smartphone. The Blue Charm Metal 2 is considered to be the successor to last year’s Blue Charm Metal.
According to the rumoured specifications, the Meizu Charm Metal 2 will have a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution and 2.5D curved glass screen. The handset will likely be powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM. It is expected to offer 16GB/32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further via a microSD card.
The smartphone will likely sport a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. On the connectivity front, it’s expected to offer 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Battery capacity will be 4,000 mAh.
Meizu recently launched its M3 Note smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 9,999, the M3 Note flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 403 ppi pixel density. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with the company’s own Flyme OS and is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor.
