LeEco has introduced a new content ecosystem for its devices in India. Called the Ecosystem Membership Program, it will let customers access local and international movies, TV shows, and music on their LeEco devices.
The program includes collaboration with three media companies. The TV show service, called Le Live, comes in partnership with YuppTV, and will let customers view channels such as Sony Entertainment, NDTV, Gemini Movies, 9X Tashan, Sun TV, Times Now, Nickelodeon, Colors, and others, in multiple Indian languages. The movie service is called Le Vidi, and is done in partnership with Eros Now, and includes 2000+ titles across multiple Indian languages. Lastly, the Le Music service is in partnership with Hangama and includes 3.5 million tracks and 50 live online concerts from around the world. The program will also include 5TB of online LeEco Drive storage for users.
The service will be available to existing users for INR 450 ($6.7) per month or INR 4500 ($67) per year.
LeEco also launched a new phone alongside the service. Called the Le 1s Eco, the phone is identical to the existing Le 1s. It will, however, come with one year of free membership of the content service.
The phone with the membership is priced at INR 10,899 ($164). On the first flash sale, which is on May 12, 2PM IST, the phone will be available at a discounted price of 9,999 ($150).
