Yesterday some images of a Honor-branded device appeared in a phone case. Sources were talking about Honor 8 Lite and today we’ve got confirmation of their words.
The device comes with 5.2” LTPS display with Full HD resolution and 2.5D glass on top of it. The chipset underneath is the octa-core Kirin 655, and the RAM is 3GB. The internal memory is just 16GB but we can see a slot for SIM, that probably doubles as a microSD.
The fingerprint scanner is located on the back and there are no frontal hardware buttons.
If it all sounds familiar it’s because the phone is identical to the Huawei P8 lite (2017). The only difference seems to be the 12 MP camera, which will have F2.2 aperture, which is slower than P8 (2017)’s F2.0 aperture. The front camera is 8 MP with 77-degree angle of view.
Honor 8 Lite is already on pre-order in Finland for €269 with actual sales starting on Ferbuary 17. It will initially be available in black and white. Black and Blue options will hit the shelves at the end of March.
