Airtel on Monday launched its own Online Store in India which will be offering smartphones with the company’s bundled offers. iPhone 7 is one of the first smartphones on offer on Airtel’s own store, and is being marketed to be available at a down payment of just Rs. 7,777. Interested users will, however, have to look out for the fine print.
After down payment, iPhone 7 32GB model will be available to users with 24-month instalments of Rs. 2,499 each. The company says that iPhone 7 users will receive postpaid plan with up to 30GB data per month, as well as unlimited local, STD, and national roaming calls. Airtel is additionally offering physical damage and cyber protection under Airtel’s Secure package which will be free for users purchasing the smartphone from the new Online Store.
Airtel has partnered with Apple, HDFC Bank, Clix Capital, Seynse Technologies, Brightstar Telecommunications, and Vulcan Express to enable offers on its Online Store. The company says that the new Online Store services will be currently available to customers in 21 cities across India, and will be expanded to other cities and towns soon.
