YU has launched two new smartphones in the Indian market, the Yureka S and the Yunique Plus in India.
The Yureka S has a anodized aluminum back and a polycarbonate frame. On the front is a 5.2-inch 1080p display under Gorilla Glass 3. Inside is the Snapdragon 616 processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage with microSD support. On the back is a 13 megapixel camera with f2.0 aperture and on the front is a 5 megapixel camera. The phone is powered by a 3000mAh battery and runs the outdated Android 5.1.
The Yunique S only improves upon its predecessor in one aspect. The phone now comes with 2GB instead of 1GB of RAM. The rest of the specifications are identical, including a 4.7-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 410 processor, 8GB storage with microSD support, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, 2000mAh battery, and once again the outdated Android 5.1 OS.
The Yureka S is priced at INR 12,999 ($194) and the Yunique Plus at INR 6,999 ($104).
