HTC is working on not one, but two Desire 10 smartphones, famous leaker Evan Blass has revealed today. Last month, he mentioned a Desire 10 coming in the future, and then we even saw a purported leaked image of the device.
Now it turns out that HTC will launch the Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle, at some point towards the end of September. The former will be the higher-end model, but unfortunately there are no details about it at this point. On the other hand, pretty much all of the essential specs of the Desire 10 Lifestyle have been leaked.
There’s a chance that the Desire 10 Lifestyle is the model depicted in the image above, which was outed in July, especially since Blass says it will have “a metallic gold trim on the edges and around key hardware elements like the camera lens, flash, and antenna cutouts” – and that seems to be exactly what we’re seeing here.
Moving on, the phone should come with a 5.5-inch 720p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 5 MP selfie shooter. There will be two memory versions, and you’ll get one or the other depending on where you live: 2GB of RAM paired with 16GB of storage, or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space.
The handset will feature BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition stereo speakers, and 24-bit system audio. It will ship with high-quality earbuds with increased frequency range, that will take advantage of the enhanced audio capabilities of the Desire 10 Lifestyle.
The phone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense on top. It will be powered by an unknown Qualcomm chipset with a quad-core CPU. The Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle are meant to complement the higher-end HTC 10 in the company’s portfolio.
