Just a few days ago, Samsung made the AT&T-exclusive Galaxy S7 active official after many months of rumors regarding it. And starting today, you can purchase this device from AT&T’s online store if you want.
There are a few options to choose from when buying it. First off, you can shell out the entire amount upfront, but that’s a pretty steep $794.99. Alternatively, the carrier is offering you its Next installment plans. Using these, you can either pay $26.50 per month for 30 months, or $33.13 per month for two years with the so called Next Every Year arrangement. The former variation lets you upgrade to a new phone every 24 months, while the latter (as its name implies) lets you do the same every 12 months.
The Galaxy S7 active shares most specs with the non-active S7, but it does have a much larger 4,000 mAh battery. It also adheres to the Military Standard MIL-STD 810G for being salt, dust, humidity, rain, vibration, solar radiation, transport, and thermal shock resistant. Additionally it is IP68 certified.
