Apple to retire the Space Gray color for the iPhone 7, replace it with Deep Blue

Apple is going to announce the new generation of iPhones this September – the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Some are expecting to see an iPhone 7 Pro model to make an appearance, but the picture still isn’t clear on that one.

One thing all the rumors have in common is the lack of change in the design – the 7th generation iPhones will be staying close to the iPhone 6 series, with minor exterior refinements such as the hidden antenna bands. We are even hearing these design refurbishments will happen for three years in a row from now on.

And while we are still in the rumor mill, the rest of the popular rumors suggest Apple will be putting optical stabilization on the smaller iPhone 7, too

Today’s story is a bit different. It disturbs what we are used to expecting with the suggestion that Apple might be replacing its top-selling color option – the Space Gray – with Deep Blue. If indeed this is true, this has to be one super attractive paint mixture; otherwise, it may get lots of people angry. After all, the Space Gray was most famous not because is coolness, but because it was the safest choice.

As the report suggest, the rest of the colors will remain intact – Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver. You should take this rumor with a healthy pinch of salt, as always.
